As you may well know from time to time I’ve experienced outages due to power loss and ISP issues. When KONA is off the air I can’t help but feel I am losing listeners. T o counteract this I will be employing an Auto-DJ feature in the near future. What that entails is uploading content to a server so that when my stream goes down the AuotDJ kicks in and plays content at the server. I anticipate acquiring about 2 gigabytes or so to cover lost time from power loss, DSL connectivity issues and station maintenance. More on that when it gets implemented.

My computers are being moved downstairs to the basement this weekend (11-13 July). Expect some downtime as I move the DSL router and station computer to their new location. I’ll try to do it at off peak times.

I was digging around my music collection when I noticed I had the soundtrack for the old computer game called Interstate 76.
I-76 was a cool auto combat game with a killer 70’s Funk soundtrack by an session band called Bullmark. 13 Tracks have been added to the playlist. Enjoy!
